DG, ICAR interacted with the trainees at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai.

ICAR-CIRCOT’s skill development programme on “Advances in Microscopy”, fourth in the series, was organized during January 17-19, 2019. In line with the Government of India’s Skill Development Initiative,

this three day training programme was designed to acquaint participant with recent advances in the field of light microscopy, electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy and to impart hands-on training on sample preparation techniques. Six participants enrolled for this training programme include Professor and Scientists from NARS system. Hands-on practical was the major focus of this training programme.

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) interacted with the trainees on the last day of the programme. He appreciated the efforts taken be ICAR-CIRCOT in conducting such a skill development programmes. Dr. P. G. Patil, Director highlighted the similar training programmes being conducted all-round the year and its contribution in enhancing the revenue generation of the Institute. Dr. Sujata Saxena, Principal Scientist & Head, CBPD, Dr. Ashok K. Bharimalla, Senior Scientist and Head, TTD and Dr. N. Vigneshwaran, Principal Scientist & Course Coordinator were present during the occasion.
