All textile testing laboratories in India including those of textile mills and R&D establishments are using imported USDA calibration cotton standards for calibrating fibre testing instruments such as Fibrograph, Micronaire, Stelometer and HVI system. The import of calibration cotton is time consuming, expensive and involves valuable foreign exchange.

CIRCOT is supplying indigenously prepared calibration cotton standards having quality characteristics similar to those of USDA calibration cottons for the last 10 tears. Large number of textile mills, R. & D. establishments and HVI manufacturers in the country are using CIRCIT calibration cotton standards for calibrating their instruments since 1997.

 Two sets of calibration cotton standards are available: -
? One set is for Conventional Instruments.
? The other set is for HVI System both ICC and HVI mode
