ICAR- CIRCOT Conducted Specialized Training on ‘Improving Work Efficiency, Stress Management and Personality Development’

To improve the capacity building of staff of the institute, ICAR-CIRCOT organized a one day specialized training programme on ‘Improving work efficiency, Stress Management and Personality Development’ on 7th December 2020 at Mumbai by following ICAR HRM Policy.

In his inaugural address Dr P. G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, highlighted the importance of work efficiency and stress management and welcomed the resource person Dr M.S. Mane, Head, Interfaculty Development of Irrigation & Water Management, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri, Maharashtra. Dr M.S. Mane explained the importance of managing stress and elaborated the various techniques to improve the work efficiency such as using meditation, prioritization of work etc.  Shri. Sunil Kumar, Senior Administrative officer of the institute also delivered lecture on different approaches to improve the administrative skills. In total, 26 participants out of which 16 from regional units of the institute have attended the training in virtual mode. Scientists, technical officers, administrative personnel and skilled supportive staff of the institute benefited by attending this training. 

Dr P. G. Patil, distributed the virtual certificate to all the participants during valedictory function and appreciated the staff and Dr T. Senthilkumar, Scientist & HRD Nodal officer of the institute for achieving 100% target in HRD activities.
