ICAR-CIRCOT organized the Training Programme on “Health Management and Safety Measures in Work Place” during January 18-20, 2021.

To impart advanced skills to the Technical, Administrative and Supporting staff members of the institute, HRD Cell of ICAR-CIRCOT organized a three days training programme on “Health Management and Safety Measures in Work Place” during January 18-20th, 2021 on Hybrid mode (both online and offline, following necessary COVID management protocols). The training programme was attended by thirty seven staff members from headquarters and four staff members from Ginning Training Centre, Nagpur and four staff members from Quality evaluation units (Sirsa, Surat, Dharwad and Coimbatore).

The training course covered the aspects of general health management, guidelines for precautions during COVID pandemic situation, stress management, positive thinking, safety measures in work place and first aids. During the training programme Dr. P. G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, highlighted the importance of positive thinking, stress management and health management towards improve the wok efficiency. Dr.Sapana Shah M.D (Homeopathy), Kandivali East, Mumbai, Shir. Arun Naik (psychologist), Thane West, Mumbai and Shri. Shivajirao B. Bagat, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Mumbai were invited as resource persons for the training programme. Dr.Sapana Shah explained about general health management techniques and precaution measures to be taken during COVID Pandemic situation. Also, she provide the homeopathy immune booster (CORONA Preventive) pills to all the participants. Shri. Arun Naik taught to participant about how stress is happens and how to manage stress and also, elaborated the various techniques for positive thinking.   Shri. Shivajirao B. Bagat, talked about the importance of safety measures in work place and technic to be follow during accident time.
